After completing her honors BA
in Media, Information and Technoculture,

and earning her writing certificate at the University of Western Ontario, Rebecca set her sights on honing her French and moved to Montréal, QC. There, she attended McGill University and earned her Certificate of Proficiency in French. Upon deciding to pursue a career in public relations, she ventured back to her native Toronto and earned her Corporate Communications diploma at Centennial College.

Rebecca spent a year in Toronto, as an advertising account coordinator with Dialog, the direct marketing division of agency, Publicis Canada. There she worked on integrated promotional campaigns for clients including Lennox, Sharp, Purolator, Maxxium and Canada Post. Last year, Rebecca joined The Siren Group Inc. as an account coordinator playing an integral role in the implementation of communications plans for the company’s roster of consumer marketing accounts. Rebecca was promoted to account executive in October 2007.
