Renée Lalonde, Senior Consultant

Anne O' Hagan Photo
Renée Lalonde has more than twenty five years of fashion and promotion industry experience,

comprised of sales, marketing communications, special events and media relations. Her varied experience ranges from work as a print and runway fashion model, coordination of editorial shoots as an associate at Toronto Life/Fashion magazine, fashion and design consulting for clothing retailers including Holt Renfrew’s Private Label, Comrags, Finishing Touches and Syd Beder’s Good and Beder to national sales for international designer collections including Montana River’s Big Star, CP Company and Adriano Goldschmied.

Renée represented Canada’s leading film and television commercial directors at Revolver Films and Production, for two years. She spent six years as an associate at Gangbar Winslade Agency, one of Canada’s top fashion sales and distribution agencies. There, she was responsible for fashion sales, special events and national media relations for apparel lines including Zapata, Bent Boys, Hoax Couture, Suzy Tompkins, Betsy Johnson, James Yunker, Mimi Bizjak, Loucas, Marie Saint Pierre and Teenflo, among others.

She then spent a year establishing the artists’ division of Giovanni Management in Montreal and Toronto, representing Canada’s leading roster of fashion stylists, hairdressers and make-up artists on the international fashion scene. In addition, she acted as a consultant in marketing and media relations for Elsa Reia N Studio in Toronto, Canada’s leading agency for upscale jewellery and fashion accessories.

Renée’s fashion savvy and eye for design led her to a position sourcing marketing items at Top of the Line, a Canadian promotions and incentives agency.

Most recently, Renée established, designed, sold and marketed her own line of jewellery called Yuki by Renée Lalonde. Within her first year of operation she counted, among her valued customers, approximately 20 high fashion retail boutiques across Canada. The jewellery has been showcased in dozens of editorial fashion magazine pages along with profiles of Renée and her business.

Renée has also volunteered with Fashion Cares, Canada’s largest fundraising event for the AIDS Committee of Toronto.
